Saturday and Sunday
The greens are covered in snow, but there will still be plenty of activity at Edgewood Golf Course, 19 Golf Course Drive, Fargo, during Saturday's Family Winter-ific Day. Things start off with cross-country ski races
at 9:30 a.m., but less competitive activities take over from 1 to 4 p.m. with recreational cross-country skiing, snowshoe rentals, and horse-drawn sleigh rides. (701) 499-6060. West Fargo celebrates its own winter wonderland on Sunday with Frosty Fun in Elmwood Park, 500 13th Ave. W. from 1 to 3 p.m. This event is part of the park district's Winter Days, through Jan. 22. Families can take part in sleigh and SnoBear rides, a sledding parade, snow dig for prizes, winter archery, kid's winter crafts, snowshoe demos and races.
