Christa Maasjo, Napoleon, N.D., and Nathan Kron, Bismarck, announce their engagement.
Parents are Eldon and Shari Maasjo, Valley City, N.D.; John Kron, Enderlin, N.D.; and Brenda Kron, Fargo.
Christa graduated in 2005 from Valley City High School, and in 2009 she graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in agribusiness. She is the county executive director at Farm Service Agency, Napoleon.
Nathan graduated in 2006 from Enderlin High School, and in 2008 he graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead, with an associate degree in firefighting. He is a firefighter with the Bismarck Fire Department. He has also served with the Army National Guard since 2005.
A Sept. 6 wedding is planned at St. Catherine Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the Eagles Club, both in Valley City.
