Kristina Martin and Jason Kruse, Des Moines, Iowa, announce their engagement.
Parents are Jerome and Suzanne Martin, Nebraska City, Neb.; and Paul and Ginny Kruse, Fargo.
Kristina graduated in 2004 from Nebraska City High School and in 2008 graduated from Briar Cliff University, Sioux City, Iowa, with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is a teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School, Des Moines.
Jason graduated in 2003 from Fargo North High School and in 2007 graduated from Briar Cliff University with a bachelor's degree. He is attending medical school at Des Moines University.
A July 24 wedding is planned in Nebraska City.
