Merlyn Bekkerus, Barnesville, Minn., will celebrate his 80th birthday at an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. July 30 at his farm at 23246 Highway 34 S., Barnesville. Cake and coffee will be served.
In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Blue Eagle Park picnic shelter in Barnesville.
