Dawson Insurance, A Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA) LLC Company Hires Smith

<p>Dawson Insurance, a Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC company, recently appointed Bruce W. Smith as president of MMA Dakotas, a partnership between the Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA) offices in Sioux Falls and Fargo. This newly-created position will help the offices share and develop new resources and expertise to better support clients across the region. </p> <p>“We’re excited to continue our trend of bringing together our people in Fargo and Sioux Falls, and collaborating with other MMA offices across the country,” Smith said. “These client-focused teams are so well-positioned to help customers by accessing each other’s experience and the resources across MMA nationwide and all of Marsh & McLennan Companies.” </p> <p>Prior to joining Dawson Insurance in Fargo, Smith was the regional vice president of business development for MMA’s Upper Midwest region. Prior to that, he was the managing director for Marsh’s Minneapolis office, focusing on its risk management and human capital businesses. Smith, who has a residence in Fargo, will now split his time between Sioux Falls and Fargo. CEO Tom Dawson and Chairman Dan Armbrust will continue their long standing leadership roles with Dawson’s Fargo office. </p> <p>Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC is a subsidiary of Marsh established in 2008 to offer business insurance, personal lines and employee benefits to mid-size businesses and individuals across North America. </p>
