EERC Names Core Value Award Recipients

The Energy & Environmental Research Center (EERC) named its Core Value Award recipients at its recent annual meeting. Awardees are selected from peer nominations. Five awards are given each year based on the EERC’s core values: to Be Safe, Ethical, Engaged, Effective, and Professional. All awardees demonstrate work ethics encompassing all five core values in an exemplary way.  This year’s awardees are: To Be Safe: John Oleksik, Research Engineer

To Be Ethical: Ryan Klapperich, Principal Geoscientist

To Be Engaged: Kyle Dye, Technology Development Operator

To Be Effective: Marla Berge, Administrative Assistant

To Be Professional: Chantsa Dalkhaa, Principal Reservoir Engineer

The EERC is a global leader in researching and developing technologies that make the energy we use and produce more efficient and environmentally friendly. Our team of more than 200 scientists; engineers; and finance, operations, and other support professionals work together to develop practical solutions to critical global issues. The EERC is part of the University of North Dakota and is designated as North Dakota’s State Energy Research Center.
