Enclave Companies Partners with Down Home to support those emerging from homelessness
Founded in 2011, Enclave is committed to creating spaces where people are inspired to do their best work and live their best life, by reimagining how spaces are designed, developed, and constructed.
“We’re incredibly grateful to be part of such a generous and supportive community that has contributed to our continued success,” said Austin Morris, Co-Founder and CEO of Development. “As an organization, we have a responsibility to role model corporate citizenship and support the next generation of community giving – something that is achieved through our Down Home partnership.”
Established in 2017, Down Home has set out to empower lives by furnishing homes for families and individuals emerging from homelessness. To date, Down Home has transformed 71 empty spaces into comfortable, engaging and empowering homes for 225 men, women and children in the FM community.
“We are incredibly grateful to partner with Enclave this year,” said Jenessa Fillipi, Down Home Executive Director. “Enclave’s support will make a huge impact on our efforts to provide clients with relief from the financial stressors of furnishing a home; help empower clients to provide stability for their family; continue to connect families to community resources; and prevent homelessness from recurring for families.”
With Enclave’s partnership, two move-ins will be made possible for families emerging from homelessness. Enclave will also provide additional support through donations and drives which will collect home furnishings and decor items required to transform the homes of families emerging from homelessness served by Down Home’s mission.
“It was incredibly important for us to partner with an organization that not only aligns with our mission, but supports our values and complements the talents of our team,” said Ben Meland, Co-Founder and CEO of Construction. “By design, we’re creating a human investment with Down Home through team member volunteerism and look forward to opportunities with Down Home in which we can dedicate our time.”
