Essentia Health welcomes Dr. Mahmoud Soliman

Dr. Mahmoud Soliman, who specializes in pathology, has joined Essentia Health in Fargo.

“At the time I started my job search, a position with Essentia Health opened which required not only my specialty of pathology, but also my subspecialty in hematopathology,” shares Dr. Soliman. “It was the perfect fit, and I was instantly drawn to the idea of moving back to North Dakota and Fargo specifically.”

Dr. Soliman earned his medical degree from Cairo University Medical School in Giza, Egypt. He did his residency at Boston Medical Center Pathology, Boston, Mass. and his fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Pathology, also in Boston. Dr. Soliman is board certified in Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.

“I spent 10 years in teaching and medical research after medical school, when transitioning back into clinical practice, I was looking for a specialty which best combines the clinical aspect with laboratory work and a deep understanding of the constantly evolving medical research,” says Dr. Soliman. “My subspecialty in hematopathology diagnoses the cancers of blood, bone marrow and lymphoid tissues in addition to a wide range of benign conditions.

Dr. Soliman assures patients, “I will use all my passion, experiences and academic training to best serve my patients and their families. My team and I will strive to provide exceptional care, without exception.”
