Holiday Dinner Gift Provides 1,000 Holiday Dinners to Local Families in Need

The Forward Foundation, partnering with Power Plate Meals and Brew Bird, is providing 1,000 holiday dinners to local families in need through the Holiday Dinner Gift event held December 22nd and 23rd.

This past year has brought many challenges. The Forward Foundation’s Holiday Dinner Gift’s goal was to brighten the holiday season by helping local families in need enjoy a traditional holiday meal with all the fixings. Working with local schools to identify families, Power Plate Meals and Brew Bird stepped up to prepare and distribute 1,000 delicious, heat-and-serve holiday dinners. Each dinner fed four to six individuals.

“The true gift of the holiday season is sharing it with those most important to us,” said Forward Foundation Board of Directors President Sheri Stockmoe. “We are so grateful to Power Plate Meals, Brew Bird, and our local school counselors and social workers who helped us make this idea a reality and positively impact so many families in our community.”

The Forward Foundation’s mission is to enhance the lives of children.
