Home Builders Association presents its Volunteer of the Year Awards

Last month, Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead presented the 2019 Associate Volunteer of the Year award to Eric Miller, Starion Bank, and the 2019 Builder Volunteer of the Year Award to Dan Parrow, ISR Homes.

These awards recognize them for effort and work expended in the interest of their fellow members, Association and community.

Miller’s highlights include building connections, exuding energy, and a passion to protect the rights of homeowners. A leader with the HBA’s Future Leaders and Entrepreneurs Exchange group, Miller is dedicated to engaging emerging leaders in the homebuilding industry. He supports the HBA’s membership recruitment and retention efforts through his own excitement for the future and dedication to the industry.

With a passion for trades, Parrow understands how critical workforce development is to the local building industry. He has connected with the youngest builders through the Lego Homebuilding Competition, up to high school students by hosting work-site tours, and more. He  took his involvement to the next level by helping to revamp the Association’s continuing education for Minnesota contractors.
