Paul Fuhrman joins BCBSND as Vice President of Finance

Paul Fuhrman has been hired as Vice President of Finance at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND). A native of Chisago Lakes, Minn., Fuhrman attained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire, Wis. Prior to joining BCBSND, Fuhrman was the founder and president of Tonka Advisory LLC, his own finance and accounting advisory company. He also previously worked for Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company in Neenah, Wis. as vice president, treasurer and CFO. Before that Fuhrman was vice president of financial reporting and controller at SFM Mutual Insurance Company in Bloomington, Minn. Fuhrman is an accredited CPA and AIAF. As VP of Finance, Fuhrman is responsible for the strategic leadership and direction for the Finance function at BCBSND, overseeing the overall finance plan, budgeting, tax reporting and accounting practices for the organization.
