Spitfire wins grand championship in South Dakota

The traveling competition barbecue team from Spitfire Bar & Grill of West Fargo and Detroit Lakes was named the grand champion of the Original SD BBQ Championship held in Huron, South Dakota on June 05, 2021. The team, led by chief cook Tim Olson, competed against 48 other teams in the Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned contest. Besides placing first in overall points, Spitfire placed first in brisket and second in chicken.
