Ashley Moen, Valley City, N.D., and Adam Gehlhar, Ypsilanti, N.D., announce their engagement.
Parents are Brad and Marsha Moen, Valley City; and Mark and Joan Gehlhar, Ypsilanti.
Ashley graduated in 2002 from Valley City High School and in 2008 graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in graphic design. She is a Web designer at Swanson Health Products, Fargo. She is currently serving with the Air National Guard after serving with the North Dakota Army National Guard since 2000.
Adam graduated in 2001 from Jamestown High School and in 2008 graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in social science education and is currently pursuing a master's degree in education leadership at NDSU. He is a social science teacher with the West Fargo Public Schools. He has served with the Army National Guard since 2001.
An Aug. 1 wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, followed by a reception at the Gladstone Inn and Suites, Jamestown.
