Amanda Molacek and Curtis Shaw announce their engagement.
Parents are Richard and Nancy Molacek, Mayville, N.D., and Dan and Cathy Shaw, Boise, Idaho.
Amanda and Curtis both graduated from Mayville State University. Amanda is employed by Tender Hearts Home Care, Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Curtis is employed by Bob's Drywall, Moorhead.
An Aug. 17 wedding is planned at on the beach at Detroit Lakes.
