Casey Morken and Brian Strand, Wahpeton, N.D., announce their engagement.
Parents are Dave and Jill Morken, Pekin, N.D.; and Tom and Karen Strand, Hatton, N.D.
Casey graduated in 2002 from Dakota Prairie High School, Petersburg, N.D., and in 2006 graduated from the University of Mary, Bismarck, with a master's degree in occupational therapy. She is a pediatric occupational therapist at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo.
Brian graduated in 2002 from Finley-Sharon High School, Finley, and in 2005 graduated from Bismarck State College with an associate degree in applied science as a certified electrical lineworker. He is lead lineman at Ottertail Power Co., Wahpeton.
A May 8 wedding is planned at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, Fargo, followed by a reception at the AmericInn, Moorhead.
