Headline story: FARGO-- The Fargo Fire Department fought a 2 alarm apartment fire in downtown Fargo early Thursday, August 26. The initial call for the fire came shortly before midnight to 110 1/2 9th Street South, according to Red River Regional Dispatch. Once fire crews arrived at the building, they noticed smoke and flames coming from various spots from the roof to the wall of a 2nd floor unit in the building, according to Fargo Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson. That's when the crews determined they would need the additional resources. The flames were extinguished in about 25 minutes, according to Erickson. Read the full story here.
