NDSU volleyball team drops season finale to South Dakota

The Coyotes muscled through for a five-set win in the final regular season match of the 2021 season.

FARGO — North Dakota State closed out its regular season with a tough loss to South Dakota, with the Coyotes taking the five-setter 25-16, 23-25, 25-18, 15-25, 18-16 on Saturday at the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse.

The Bison wrapped up the regular season 6-12 in the Summit League standings and 12-18 overall.

Syra Tanchin led the Bison with 17 kills and three blocks. Ali Hinze had 15 kills and served a couple of aces.

Raegen Reilly finished with 41 kills and 15 digs. Alexis Bolling had nine kills and four blocks and Kaylee Hanger and Taylor Quan both had 14 digs.
