Kalynn Nelson and Dustin Lerud, Fargo, announce their engagement.
Parents are Brad and Dawn Nelson, Glyndon, Minn.; DeAyn Lerud, Dilworth; and Bruce Grandlund, Horace, N.D.
Kalynn graduated in 2004 from Dilworth Glyndon Felton High School and in 2009 graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in child development and family science. She is a teacher at Early Years, West Fargo.
Dustin graduated in 2003 from West Fargo High School. He works in construction and farms near Detroit Lakes, Minn.
An April 29 wedding is planned at First Presbyterian Church, Moorhead, followed by a reception at the Holiday Inn, Fargo.
