FARGO — A motorist received serious injuries in a three-vehicle crash at 45th Street South and 23rd Avenue South at about 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7.
A driver, headed south on 45th Street, ran a red light and collided with an eastbound vehicle on 23rd Avenue, which led to a collision with a third vehicle, Fargo police said.
The driver who ran the red light was cited for failure to obey a traffic signal and fined $20.
The passenger in that vehicle was hospitalized with serious injuries that were not life-threatening. The names of motorists involved in the crash were not released.
