BISMARCK-It might be the middle of winter but someone in Dickinson could be walking around with a red hot ticket worth $100,000.
A Powerball with Power Play ticket sold in Dickinson for Saturday night's draw won big by matching four white balls and the Powerball. The winning numbers were 14, 25, 35, 58, 69 and the Powerball was 24. The Power Play multiplier was 2.
The lucky ticket was sold at M&H Gas, 342 W. Villard, in Dickinson, according to a release from the North Dakota Attorney General's Office. The prize was $50,000, but because the player also purchased the Power Play option, the ticket is worth $100,000. No one had contacted the North Dakota Lottery office as of Tuesday morning to claim the prize, the release said.
"North Dakota Powerball players have hot hands during this frigid cold spell," Randy Miller, director of the North Dakota Lottery, said in a statement. "This is the second $100,000 Powerball with Power Play winner in North Dakota over the last two weeks."
Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
