FARGO — Air travelers in the region can enroll in the Transportation Security Administration's PreCheck expedited screening program Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 7 at Hector International Airport.
Appointments are available from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m., and will be held in the airport conference room located on the second floor of the passenger terminal.
Applicants must bring proof of identity and U.S. citizen documentation, such as a U.S. passport, or birth certificate and driver's license to the on-site appointment. Fingerprints will be collected for a background check. The application fee is $85 for five years of service and can be paid by credit card, money order, company check or certified/cashier's check. Cash and personal checks will not be accepted.
Advanced appointments for applications can be made ahead of the event at identogo.com/precheck.
TSA PreCheck enables identified low-risk air travelers to have a more efficient screening experience. Travelers with PreCheck don't need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts. TSA PreCheck operates more than 450 lanes at over 200 airports across the country, including Hector International.
