FARGO — Over 50 law enforcement volunteers will participate in the Fargo leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run to bring awareness to the Special Olympics North Dakota 2019 State Summer Games.

The Fargo Torch Run will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at Family Fare, 724 N. University Dr., with law enforcement running to the Great Northern Park. The runners will then begin the final leg of the Torch Run, leading the parade of athletes, and run south on North Broadway, past the Fargo Theatre, concluding at the Fargo Civic Center for the 6:45 p.m. opening ceremony community celebration.

Torch runs will also take place in Bismarck, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Minot, Pembina and Valley City.
