MAN DRAGGED KICKING AND SCREAMING OUT OF GRAND FORKS WALMART

A man is under arrest after reports of a gun forced the evacuation the Walmart off Gateway Dr.

Police did not find a gun, but they did arrest 30-year-old Brandon Dubois. Video WDAY got of the arrest appears to show Dubois shouting at officers. We added subtitles because it's hard to hear. Police said he had an altercation with an employee. Dubois faces charges of terrorizing, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. We can't show you his booking photo because jail staff tells WDAY he has not been cooperative.

HALF-WOLF HALF-DOG CAUGHT IN MOORHEAD

Police in Moorhead said they're trying to figure out what to do with an animal they found, but they aren't even sure what it is.

They used a filet mignon to catch what appears to be a possible hybrid animal that is part dog and part wolf. They've been tracking it for the past month, with numerous sightings reported in the Romkey Park area. WDAY News learned the owner may have a mental illness and let it go. Hybrids are illegal in city limits.

HIGHWAY PATROL TAKES OVER INVESTIGATION INTO BOY HIT BY SUV

There's a new investigating agency taking over the case of a car that hit a little boy on a bike in West Fargo.

The first grader got hit by an SUV while riding his bike, Wednesday. WDAY News is still working to find out his condition. A representative with the police tells us the North Dakota Highway Patrol is taking over the investigation. The patrol has special equipment that will help it learn the details of the crash. Students, parents, and staff can get counseling at Berger Elementary.
