BISMARCK — A missing 7-month-old girl sought by Bismarck police who took her mother into custody has been dropped off anonymously at a Bismarck hospital and is safe, authorities say.

An unknown person brought LeahMae Dawn Morsette to the Sanford Health emergency room about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Police Chief Dave Draovitch said.

Earlier in the day, an AMBER Alert had been issued for the infant girl who was discovered missing after her mother was arrested Monday night, June 24.

The infant LeahMae Dawn Morsette was reported missing at 9 p.m. Monday, according to a Facebook post from the Bismarck Police Department.
