FARGO — Cass County Vector Control has scheduled truck-mounted spraying and aerial spraying for elevated mosquito nuisance in Fargo, West Fargo and rural communities on Monday, July 1, and Tuesday, July 2.
On July 1, rural Cass County cities and subdivisions will receive mosquito insecticide treatments starting at 8:15 p.m., weather permitting.
On July 2, Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead will receive mosquito insecticide treatments starting at 8:15 p.m., weather permitting.
The active ingredient in the ultra-low volume spray is permethrin or etofenprox. These insecticides are labeled for use in residential areas and are found to be non-toxic to humans and pets, according to Cass County Vector Control.
