Fargo, ND (WDAY-TV)  -  Blizzard Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for most of North Dakota and part of western Minnesota.

These weather alerts are in effect from 9 AM through 6 PM today.

Light snow will end across the area late this morning and may accumulate up to 1" for some.

Very strong winds will develop late this morning, which will create widespread blowing and drifting snow across much of the area.

The worst conditions will likely develop across northeast ND and northwest MN because there is more snow on the ground to be blown by the wind.
