FARGO — Some local bars got a special delivery Wednesday by some of the world's most famous animal-drawn transportation.

The Budweiser Clydesdales took part in a beer delivery parade in downtown Fargo as part of a lead-up to the Anheuser-Busch Growers Days at the Moorhead Malt Plant in an effort to connect regional growers. The parade made 12 stops at bars along Broadway.

"The horses are beautiful," said Nikki Zahradka, who is the Midwest agronomy manager for Anheuser-Busch. "They represent great excellence and our ambassadors in our quality, and so it's just really great to be able to share that with the community and our barley growers in the region."

Grower Days is expected to start at about 12:45 on Thursday afternoon at the Moorhead Malt Plant.
