ST. PAUL – Gov. Mark Dayton has ordered all U.S. and Minnesota flags to be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset Monday.

The flags will be flown at half-staff to honor fallen Fargo police Officer Jason Moszer, who was killed in the line of duty last week. Before joining the Fargo Police Department, Moszer was a member of the Minnesota National Guard. Moszer lived in Sabin, Minn.

A news release said it is customary for the governor to order flags be flown at half-staff following the death of a Minnesotan killed in the line of duty on the day of the funeral.

Moszer's funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday at Scheels Arena in Fargo.
