FARGO - A Fargo man has pleaded guilty in Cass County District Court to stealing a bicycle and accessories worth $10,000.
Tyler Leitch pleaded guilty to one count of theft for taking the bike from a north Fargo garage last September.
According to court documents, Leitch was caught on an interior home surveillance camera entering a garage and stealing a bicycle off the wall.
The bike was a special racing model worth about $10,000, in part because of a Garmin bicycle camera that was stolen along with the bike.
Leitch was discovered trying to pawn the camera several days after theft, court documents state.
The bike was ultimately recovered, but some accessories were not, according to prosecutors.
Leitch was sentenced to pay about $500 in fees and given 15 days in jail, which he was given credit for having served.
