FARGO - The one big wish a 10-year-old from New Mexico has is to meet Justin Bieber, and Make-A-Wish is bringing her here for his concert this weekend.
Naisy, who suffers from a life-threatening autoimmune disease, will also spend some time taking in Fargo's sights and sounds, according to Make-a-Wish North Dakota, which is assisting the organization's New Mexico branch.
Bieber's concert is Saturday June 18 at the Fargodome, but Naisy and her family arrived in Fargo Thursday, June 16. Their itinerary includes going downtown to Sandy's Donuts, catching a movie at the Fargo Theatre, munching on pizza at Rhombus Guys, cheering on the RedHawks baseball team, getting a ride on the ferris wheel at Scheels All Sports, among other things.
Naisy will shop for a new outfit and get a beauty treatment at the West Acres Shopping Center before meeting her favorite pop star.
Make-A-Wish says it's dedicated to granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions "to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy." The North Dakota branch, founded in 1985, has granted more than 780 wishes.
