FARGO-Registration is available for the 2017 Building Bridges conference on Tuesday, March 28 and Wednesday, March 29 at the Fargo Holiday Inn, 3803 13th Ave. S.

The annual two-day conference brings together service providers, educators and community leaders to connect about a wide range of issues that are important to the future of North Dakota, from working with trauma survivors to building resiliency in communities.

Keynote speakers and community leaders scheduled to present include Daniel Trust, a Rwandan genocide survivor and internationally recognized speaker and advocate for refugee, low-income and LGBT youths; Nouf Bazaz, senior fellow at the World Organization for Resource Development and Education; Tea Rozman Clark, co-founder and executive director of Green Card Voices; and Deb Dawson, co-founder and board president of African Soul, American Heart.

Early bird rates for full ($155) or single day ($95) registrations will end Tuesday, Feb. 28. Additional discounted rates are available for clergy and students ($50/day). Beginning Wednesday, March 1, registration rates will increase $10 to $20 depending on the ticket purchased.
