PARSHALL, N.D. -- The victim in a fatal two-car crash on an icy state highway, with snow drifting across the road, near Parshall in western North Dakota on Saturday has been identified.
She is Elizabeth Pohlman, 40, of New Town, the North Dakota State Patrol reported on Tuesday, March 13.
The Patrol said she she lost control of her Toyota on the slippery road and spun into the other lane. The driver of the other vehicle, Gerald Burlison, 61, of Douglas, N.D., was unable to avoid contact and struck Pohlman’s vehicle.
The crash occurred about three miles east of Parshall about 5:30 p.m.
