WEST FARGO - A West Fargo man was arrested after he allegedly tried to break into several apartments early Friday morning.

Jean Edward Roubideaux, 30, was allegedly going from door to door and checking patio doors of apartments on the 1700 block of 39th Street South around 1 a.m., Sgt. Matt Ysteboe said. When confronted by police, he lied about living in the apartments and Ysteboe said he had a crowbar and other burglary tools with him.

Roubideaux also had the keys to a car that had been stolen the day before and Ysteboe said police found the car a few blocks away.

Police found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on Roubideaux. He is charged for attempted burglary, possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and car theft.
