FARGO - A 20-year-old Fargo man is being charged with sexual assault against two minors, according to documents filed in Cass County District Court.
Muya Osman Muya, 20, a student at West Fargo High School, is charged with two felony counts of gross sexual imposition against minors. Both of the alleged victims are under the age of 15.
According to court documents:
In mid-March, both victims, who were friends with each other at the time of the incident, met with a man they knew as "Sam" at the West Acres Shopping Mall.
The individual was later identified as Muya.
One young woman told police Muya put his hands down her pants and penetrated her vagina. She told police Muya later did the same thing again while she was in a photo booth.
Both incidents lasted about five seconds, court records said.
The young woman told police she and her friend went to Muya's residence afterward because she wanted to talk to his mother about what happened.
While at the apartment, Muya asked the friend, the second victim, if she would like to meet his twin brother.
The victim told police she went into the bedroom and sat down on a bed before Muya came in and closed the door.
The young woman told police Muya sexually assaulted her before she was able to make him stop and leave, court documents stated.
When police interviewed Muya in April, he initially denied doing anything sexual with the first victim, saying that they only kissed and hugged.
After police showed him mall security footage, he said he had put his hands down the victim's pants but again said nothing sexual happened, court records show.
When police told Muya the second victim said he had sexual intercourse with her against her will, Muya denied the claim, court records said.
Court records indicate Muya did not have an attorney as of Wednesday morning, Sept. 26.
