BISMARCK -- North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Jon Godfread has announced dates for Medicare Plan D annual enrollment events throughout the state in October.
“Just as your health needs change from year to year, so do Medicare Part D plans. It is critical for beneficiaries to review their plan and make sure that it is the most cost-effective option," Godfread said in a statement.
Open enrollment for Medicare health or prescription drug plans is available from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. The state Insurance Department is hosting nine events for residents seeking help with enrollment or managing their Medicare Plan D coverage.
Dates include: Oct. 16 in Grand Forks, Oct. 17 in Fargo, Oct. 18 in Valley City, Oct. 19 in Jamestown, Oct. 23 in Dickinson, Oct. 24 in Williston, Oct. 25-26 in Minot and Oct. 30 in Bismarck.
