FARGO —The YMCA is hosting a self-defense course from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24. The class will take place at the YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties, 400 1st Ave. S.
Participants in this class will learn how to identify and avoid predators, how to escape attackers, a general knowledge of criminal trends and statistics, and more. This class, led by the North Dakota Safety Council will consist of two hours of classroom training, and two hours of hands-on skills training.
