GRAND FORKS — A project featuring t-shirts created by survivors of domestic violence is now on display at the University of North Dakota campus.
Shirts featured in the Clothesline Project tell stories of abuse survivors. Each t-shirt color signifies a different type of abuse and some shirts represent someone who died by violence.
"The more that we're talking openly about it — about violence and about people's experiences of trauma — the more we're able to help survivors," said Erica, a confidential adviser for the Community Violence Intervention Center.
People interested in viewing the Clothesline Project can see it at the UND Wellness Center Thursday, Oct. 10, starting at 8 a.m.
