ST. PAUL, MN -- The Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a contract, valued at $59,448,550, to Ames Construction Inc., based out of Barnesville, MN, for construction on the Diversion project.

The company will be building a flow control structure with two gates on the Wild Rice River, about seven miles south of Fargo-Moorhead.

This is the second contract awarded for the Diversion project.
