GRAND FORKS — Children in need in Grand Forks need your help this Christmas.

The Whalen's Moving and Storage Truck is now parked in front of the WDAZ building, 2220 S. Washington St. in Grand Forks, and WDAY-TV hopes you'll help fill the truck with toys and winter weather wear for hundreds of kids.

Over 350 kids eligible to receive toys and clothing have been identified by social workers and referred to the United Way. Kids up to up to 17 years old are able to take part.

"We have about 50, over 50 families right now that are on our waiting list so the need is pretty great," said Dave Sena, the CEO of the United Way of Grand Forks and East Grand Forks.

You can drop off items at the WDAZ building in Grand Forks, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. now until Dec. 13.
