FOSSTON, Minn - The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating two vehicles found with bullet holes in them outside an Essentia Health hospital early in the morning on Sunday, Feb. 17.
At around 12:57 a.m., a Polk County Deputy in Fosston heard gunshots on the east side of the city, according to a press release.
An emergency medical services staff member at Essentia Health-Fosston reported finding bullet casing in the parking lot outside the building at 4:45 a.m..
Authorities searched the area and found the vehicles of two hospital employees had bullet holes in them, but no one else in was in the parking lot at the time.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information about the incident to call them at 218-281-0431.
