WEST FARGO — Paula Henry, principal of Eastwood Elementary School in West Fargo, was late last week named superintendent of western Minnesota's Lake Park-Audubon school district.

In July, Henry will replace Dale Hogie, current superintendent of Lake-Park Audubon schools. The LP-A School Board is expected to finalize Henry's contract on Monday, March 18, according to a press release provided by the district.

“We believe Paula has the qualifications and skills to move the school district forward," said LP-A School Board Chairman Darrel Pederson. "We look forward to working with Paula in her new capacity."

Henry was interviewed by the school board March 13, along with fellow finalist Scott Leslie, superintendent of Barnesville Public Schools. The two finalists were selected from a pool of five semifinalists, including Terri Anderson-Mann, superintendent/principal at Naytahwaush; Michael Pagel, elementary principal at Fulda; and Brad Johnson, elementary principal at Benson, who were interviewed by the board on March 8-9.

The Lake Park Audubon school district has an elementary school in Audubon and a middle and high school in Lake Park. The district is about 35 miles east of Fargo along Highway 10.
