NASHWAUK, Minn. — Two teens died in a car crash on Highway 169 at Highway 65 in Nashwauk, a small city about 30 minutes northeast of Grand Rapids, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The crash occurred about 2:42 p.m. Saturday, June 8, when a Honda Accord driven by Tyler Farnsworth, 17, of Hibbing, attempted a left turn onto Highway 65 North and was struck by a Chevy Cobra Camper driven by Daniel Alsaker, 61, of Chisholm, that was traveling south.

Minnesota State Patrol will release the names of the deceased, a 13-year-old from Hibbing and a 16-year-old who were both passengers in the Accord, on June 9. Tyler Farnsworth and Jordan Farnsworth, 15, the third passenger in the Accord, suffered non-life threatening injuries, as did Terry Alsaker, 59, the passenger in the Cobra Camper.
