BOZEMAN, Mont. — A rural road in southern Montana was the scene of a sticky, stinging mess Monday when a semi-truck carrying beehives from California to North Dakota tipped over, Missoula news station KTMF-TV reports.

The semi tipped after taking a hard turn on a roadway near Bozeman, sending a swarm of bees into the air, according to the news station, which reported that diesel fuel and honey leaked from the semi.

The two people in the truck were able to escape the crash without injury.
