PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn. - The National Transportation Safety Board has determined the probable cause of a fatal plane crash near Parkers Prairie.
In February 2013, 41-year-old Adam Menze of Ottertail was on his way back from Illinois when his plane crashed in a rural driveway. Menze died in the crash.
According to the report, the crash was likely caused by the pilot not transferring fuel from the auxiliary to the main tanks in a timely manner, starving the engine of fuel.
Menze was flying a small, single-engine propeller plane.
