ANAMOOSE, N.D. – One person died early Sunday in a one-vehicle crash two miles east of here, the North Dakota High Patrol said.
The crash happened about 4 a.m. on Highway 52 about two miles east of Anamoose.
According to the Highway Patrol:
A 48-year-old male was driving a pickup westbound on the highway when the truck drifted into the north ditch.
The driver overcorrected and the truck rolled a number of times.
The driver, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected from the vehicle and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver’s identity was being held pending notification of relatives.
No other details were available.
Anamoose is in McHenry County and about 160 miles west of Grand Forks.
