OTTERTAIL, Minn. — Authorities are still looking for the suspect in the fatal hit-and-run that killed Tyler Wohlers, 21, of Wahpeton on Saturday, July 6.
The crash occurred at about 1 a.m. as Wohlers and two other men were walking south in the northbound lane on the shoulder of Highway 78, when Wohlers tripped and fell into the northbound traffic lane and was fatally hit by a car which drove away.
The two other men described the car as a smaller sedan, white or silver in color and looked similar to a Chevrolet Cavalier. State Patrol says the vehicle should have front end damage and a fluid leak.
Minnesota State Patrol Lieutenant Gordon Shank says there is no new information but the crash remains under investigation.

According to his obituary, Wohlers loved sports, hunting, fishing, fishing, farming and his family.
"Tyler will always be remembered for his loving, caring personality and gentle soul. He was the one to lend a hand or ear to anyone who needed it," it said.
Wohlers was laid to rest Thursday in Wahpeton.
