PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn. — A 68-year-old man was brought to a Fargo hospital with life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle was struck by a car on an Otter Tail County highway Friday afternoon, July 19.

At around 4:20 p.m. Dale Stiehl of Albert Lea, Minn., was riding a Honda motorcycle east on Highway 34, north of Pelican Rapids, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. When Stiehl took a turn to head north on Highway 9, he was struck by a Chrysler sedan headed west on Highway 34.

The driver of the sedan, 65-year-old Debra Jane Leverson of Pelican Rapids, was not injured in the crash, the Patrol said.

Stiehl was brought to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo for life-threatening injuries.
