SISSETON, S.D. -- An 18-year-old who died in a rollover crash Saturday near Sisseton in far northeast South Dakota has been identified.

The victim was Shawn Renville of the nearby town of New Effington. The three other passengers in the vehicle, one who had serious injuries, were also identified Tuesday, May 22.

Renville was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu about 12:45 a.m. that failed to negotiate a curve, entered the ditch and rolled, said the South Dakota State Patrol.

Renville was ejected from the vehicle and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Suffering serious injuries was Lenore Little Ghost, 22, of Agency Village, who was first taken to the Sisseton hospital before being transferred to a hospital in Fargo. She was the front-seat passenger in the vehicle.

Sustaining minor injuries were passengers Justin Gill Jr., Sisseton, and Kendrick Mineau, 27, Agency Village.

None of the vehicle occupants were wearing seat belts.
