SOLEM TOWNSHIP, Minn. - Several people, including one teenager and two children, were injured earlier this week in a three-vehicle crash near here.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the accident happened at 5:21 p.m. Monday, July 23, on Highway 27 east of Douglas County Road 25.

At that time, a 2006 Buick Rendezvous was stopped on the highway waiting to turn onto County Road 25, with a 2010 GMC Yukon waiting behind the Buick.

Authorities said the Yukon was rear-ended by a 2001 Dodge Neon driven by 16-year-old Hannah Marie Holman, of Hoffman, Minn. The impact then pushed the Yukon into the Buick.

Holman suffered injuries that weren't life threatening and was brought to a Douglas County hospital, as were Holman's two passengers, 8-year-old Peyton Marie Winter and 5-year-old Sydney Leigh Winter, both of Hoffman.

The drivers of the other two vehicles weren't injured, according to a news release.
