ELDRIDGE, N.D. — One person was killed and another injured by a crane on construction site in rural Stutsman County Friday afternoon, Dec. 6.
At around 3:30 p.m., two construction workers were injured when they were struck by a section of a crane at the Eldridge grain elevator, about 6 miles west of Jamestown, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff's Office.
One man was flown to a Fargo hospital with unknown injuries. The other person was taken to Jamestown hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The sheriff's office did not release the names of the victims Friday night but said they would be identified Monday.
